He started to bodybuilding because he wanted to stop smoking ...     Born November 18, 1961. Raised in Brockton, Massachusetts. Had a sister who committed suice in 1989. Married Denise on Valentine's Day, 1998. Has a stepdaughter named Destiny. In 1992, owned a Gold's Gym in Palm Beach, Florida, and sold it. In 1993 opened another Gold's Gym in Boca Raton, Florida, and lost $800,000 in it, which bankrupted Mike. In 1999, diagnosed with ADHT (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and manic depression, also known as being bipolar. In 2002, currently works at the Gridiron Gym in Weston, Florida.
