March / April 2002 The NPC News is a magazine which cannot be purchased on magazine shelves. It is published for members of the NPC. It is a excellent magazine for those who are in the NPC, and for those who enjoy amateur bodybuilding, and learning about bodybuilders who soon will vie for Professional status. It's new section is also for the NPC Fitness, which is growing rapidly. It also features articles on a number of bodybuilding contests. On the cover is 2001 NPC National Champions Tanji Johnson, Johnnie Jackson, and Beth Roberts.

2001 NPC Nationals Bodybuilding The contest was held on November 16-17, at the Georgia World Congress Center Ballroom, in Atlanta, Georgia. The promoter was Steve Karel. Report and pictures. Jackson, and Beth Roberts. 2001 NPC Nationals Fitness Winners include Tanji Johnson, Renee Masi and Amy Haddad. 2001 NPC Nationals Figure This was the 1st annual NPC National Figure show, which was on August 3-4, at the Tribecca Performing Arts Center at BMCC, New York, along with the NPC Team Universe Bodybuilding and Fitness contests. Winners include Chaundra Tangi, Sharon Christian, and Davana Medina. 2001 NPC California Held in May, located at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center in Redondo Beach, California. Promoters include Jon Lindsay, Steve O'Brien and Ted Williamson. Winners include Heather Cox, Janice Moulton, Megan King, Brett Benjamin, Idrise Wardell, Justin Henderson, Jenny Bezerra, Stevie Rivera, Tita Hagan, Ron Thrash, Kay Meyers, Ron Walters, and Melissa McCarty. 2001 NPC Bev Francis Atlantic States Promoted by Bev Francis and Steve Weinberger at the Tribecca Performing Arts at BMCC in New York City. Winners include Sophann Nhim, Penny Johnson, Davana Medina, Lisa Crisano, Mike Vrabel, Robert Buccellato, Troy Moore, Yvette Williams, Scott Cohen, Tom Uzzo, and Stephen Wolkoff. 2001 North Carolina State Prmoters include Mike Valentino and Pat Valentino. The contest was located at Greensboro, North Carolina. Also, the 24th Annual West Palm Beach Bodybuilding Championships was held on this day at the William T. Dwyer Auditorium, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florid.
