Candid Shots Village People

The surprise musical guest for the Mr. Olympia evening show was the Village People. The real Village People group, not fakes that some people thought they were. They placed two songs, including their famous song 'Macho Man'. The Village People has six members, including images of a Policeman, a Construction Worker, an Army Man, an Indian, a Cowboy and a Biker. But there would not be cheers for this group this night. On the faces of many in the audience was amazement, surprise, and annoyance, and this group was actually booed after the emcee tried to give them some applause. Perhaps that is why they did not come out again towards the latter part of the evening to play their most famous song 'YMCA'.
